8.31.15: Vie Homebrew Competition
Monday, August 31
Love beer? Love to brew? Come strut your stuff!
It’s that time again! We are reaching out to all the beer-heads out there to take part in our annual homebrew competition. The first round consists of a judging, which is set for the evening of Monday, August 31.
Beers will be graded on flavor, appearance and accurate representation of the intended style. Winners will have their beers featured and paired in a multi-course dinner at Vie in the fall (date to be announced soon!). Winning brewers will also receive two complimentary tickets to the dinner.
Our August 31 judging panel will be graced by Marty Nachel, local beer aficionado and author of Homebrewing For Dummies, and Sean Mahoney, co-founder of BuckleDown Brewing, a fantastic small craft brewery and taproom just down the road from Vie in Lyons. Our own Chef Paul Virant, Chef de Cuisine Dan Compton and Beverage Director Bill Anderson will also serve as judges.
It’s homebrewer glory at its best … game on!
